iPhone 7 Plus Hissing Sound
Hello,
Yesterday received iPhone 7 Plus. Few weeks before that i found information that one of the iPhone users complained about hissing sound on the back of the phone. Here is: https://www.engadget.com/2016/09/17/iphone-7-hissing-sound-reports/
I immediately decided to check my phone and to my surprise i was the one with this phone defect. Any applications, which i was trying to open, were causing processor to produce this hissing sound (like static noise or broken earphones audio 3.5mm connector) even with low load (safari, mail, youtube etc.)
I scheduled Genius appointment at brand new Apple store location at World Trade Center, New York at 10/05/2016 2:35PM. The guy was helpful, he took my phone to the back office to listen the hissing sound. he confirmed that he did hear this noise on the back of the phone. And he told me that he had never heard this issue before. I told that i saw on google that iPhone 7 owners were having this issue before (see my link above). He told me that i should not read and trust sources, media like on Google, he compared my news like if i read something about imaginary 3-leg animal on Google (don't know why he used that kind of example). After 2-5 minutes he brought me new iPhone 7 Plus.
Customer support is outstanding.
Apple technicians should be aware of this issue and should read more news/reviews from the internet about their products.
Best,
Ievgen
