Q: 10.10.5 Slow processing after 9-13-16 auto updates installed! Took 20 min. to get this question out! Any ideas?
OS X Yosemite Ver.10.10.5
OS X Yosemite Ver.10.10.5 updates last month have set me back with an operating system that now overloads the processor with 'out of application memory' notices popping up within Forced Quit App. Simply typing this brief has been a step back to the old 286 processing days of 30 years ago, despite only having one app active!
Any suggestions as to cause? It seems as if an underlying activity is running as hard as it can in unending circles, or like its trying to sync with something constantly, but I don't run any sync operations of any sort. I have 80GB HD free (of 250GB), 4GB DDR3.
Is there a diagnostic I can run to identify all actions going through the processor; how can I identify what is eating so much processor time?
It was suggested that reload Yosemite OS X. Until this is resolved, the thought of that attempt at this processor speed is overwhelming and could dig a deeper hole to get out of. Besides, it was working wonderfully until last month's updates.
Would appreciate any other suggestions

Try running this program in your normal account , then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
