how do I remove macOS Sierra update on my iMac? My Quicken does not work with this update and I have to have this program. Please help!!!!

You can revert to your previous OS version by erasing your hard drive and restoring from your backup made before the upgrade.
JJust make sure you backup any files you may have created since upgrading to Sierra BEFORE you erase and restore your backup of the oreSierra system.
There is a 2016 version of Quicken (I'm assuming you're using an older version) that, reportedly, works with Sierra. Updating your software would, certainly, be a lot easier than trying to "rewind" your system.
Another option I might suggest...create a second partition on your Mac and install whatever OS you were using before and Quicken on that OS. Boot from that partition whenever you need to use Quicken.
I had Quicken Essentials just upgrade to Quicken 2016. Hopefully this will help. Thank you everyone. Don't know why Apple would put out something to where you have to completely wipe your hard drive to remove it.
They didn't, software like Quicken needs to be kept up to date with the operating system they run on, and Intuit are very bad at doing that.
And you made the choice of not making a backup, not Apple.
