Q: Apple TV 4 - No Power No LED. Macbook Air See's The Device

Apple TV 4 won't power on - no LED but macbook air finds it when plugged in and I was able to do a restore of the software. Still will not power on - even tried a different power cord.

    The Apple TV looks to be off when it is in sleep, the LED is blanked out and there will be no input. Can you see the Apple Logo if you turn your TV to the HDMI Channel that the Apple TV is connected to and then power it on? Being on the channel first will allow you to see whats happening.

     

    When plugging in the power cord you should see the light come on.

     

    If not, then you might need to take it to a Genius Bar and get them to take a look and see what Apple can do.
