Icloud and photos

So I just connected my iCloud to my iPhone 6 and my MacBook Air, the question I want to ask is, how do I now delete a photo from my iPhone, without it being deleted also on my Mac photos and iCloud.com storage? If I try to delete a photo from my iPhone it comes up that if I press delete it will also be removed from iCloud, and I also want to know how I can delete photos from my MacBook without it being deleted from my phone too. Thanks for any answers I can get and sorry for any miss spelling. Im from Norway 🙂

Unfortunately that's how iCloud works, i.e. it's a syncing/mirroring system whereby it syncs all your photos/videos across all devices having them immediately available to you; delete one photo/video on one device and it deletes on all devices.

As zinacef has said, iCloud backup/sync is not really a "storage" service

Take a look at iCloud Drive FAQ - Apple Support for info on how to "store" your files

Many folks find other services handy as well, such as https://www.dropbox.com/ - there are others
