Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I can see that you're having problems getting Siri to work and I'd be happy to offer some options to get this working so you can enjoy your new macOS feature! If you haven't done so already, what we'll want to do is restart the Mac and boot into safe mode and see if Siri will open there. Safe mode (sometimes called safe boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, and prevents some software from automatically loading or opening. It also verifies your startup disk, and attempts to repair directory issues if needed and deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files. The link below will show you how to boot into safe mode.
Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up
Starting up in safe mode
Follow these steps to start up into safe mode.
- Start or restart your Mac.
- Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
- Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.
After the Apple logo appears, it might take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your desktop. This is because your Mac performs a directory check of your startup disk as part of safe mode.
If you're able to use Siri in safe mode, restart your Mac normally and try to use it again. Let us know how this goes.
Regards.
