Unlock devices in apple configurator 2

Hello,

Recently been forced to use apple configurator 2 and have ran into a problem with all my devices having been supervised using apple configurator 1

if i user ever forgot there device password, i would simply pug the device in and apple configurator 1 would unlock the device.

Now i am no longer able to load apple configurator 1, if a user comes in with a device and forgot their passcode, i am unable to unlock it as apple configurator 2 doesnt have the unlock code stored.

can this be transfered from configurator 1 to 2?

Greetings, DannybanksNewcastle,
I understand that Apple Configurator 2 isn't unlocking supervised devices after updating from Apple Configurator 1. I'll be glad to help you with this.

Take care!

Hi, DannybanksNewcastle. Since there isn't a backup of the phone in question, you'll need to contact Enterprise Support.

Hello Sterling R,

Thanks for the information.

I haven't used Time Machine before and the "Press Command-Shift-G to go to a specific folder" doesn't seem to work for me.

Is there any other way of getting apple configurator 1 devices to unlock using apple configurator 2.

Regards
