Q: Macbook air fan stuck. I can hear a repetitive ticking noise - Error code PPF003

Hello. I have Macbook Air from 2015, which i bought in February 2016. A couple of hours ago I noticed a small ticking noise coming from the hardware. I ran a diagnostics test, and it turned out to be the fan that is stuck. I was wondering if I could do anything about it myself since I have to use my mac a lot the following week, so sending it off to repair won't be a good idea.

I've heard that if I disassemble the mac, the warranty will no longer work. Is there anything I can do to make the fan run again without disassembling anything, and is it dangerous to use my mac while the fan isn't working?

I've read somewhere else that you can tap (gently) on the MacBook and the fan will start working again, but I don't know if that will mess anything up if i accidently tap to hard.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), iOS 10.0.2, Fan not working
