Annonying problem with tag names

Hi there.

I´ve spent hours editing tag names but after transfering everything to my ipod, there were duplicated artist names (No, it´s not a typing problem unfortanely) and some "missing" songs (I could only hear those by the "songs" menu, I could not play then by the "Artists" or "Albums").

So, what can I do to solve this?

Hope to get some help =/

To fix the missing songs, make sure you have album names on them.

To fix the multiple artists what I did was hold shift and select all the songs by that artist, then i right clicked and got info, so it changed all of them at once to be exactly the same. It worked for me, even though I don't think I had any typing errors either. Anyway I hope it works for ya.

A trailing space usually causes this after the artists and/or song name, which fools the iPod into thinking that there are two different artists or songs. The trailing space is the hardest to spot.

In the artist or song box retype the name, as you would like it, and then click ok. Do this even if no mistakes are immediately visible.

Re sync this new artist/song info to your iPod.
