since I upgraded some voicemail messages do not arrive until 1-2 days later - anyone else having this problem?

I have an iPhone 6S. I recently upgraded to IOS 10.0.2. Now I do not get voicemail messages for 1-2 days after they were left. Can anyone help with this?
