Q: Scrolling in Safari takes me to another web site

When I am on a web page in Safari and scroll down, it takes me to the next site on my reading list.  How do I change that.  I don't seem to find it in preferences.  It is a real problem when I am on my banking site.

Thanks

Might be a conflict with a Safari extension or third party plug-ins.

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Uninstall one extension then quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

I just realized that it only does it when I access the website from my reading list.  If I go directly to the site, it doesn't/t happen.  So...I guess, I just need to go direct, especially with my bank.

    Thanks for your help.
