How to delete website data in Safari 10

When i try to delete web history in safari 10, there are several website "databases" that keeps reappearing even though i have nothing else on my system related to them... is there anyone else that have experienced this ?

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Might be database corruption ...



Open the Finder.


From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder


Then copy or paste the following:


~/Library/Safari/History.db


Click Go then move the History.db file to the Trash.



Quit then relaunch Safari.


See if that made a difference.
