Siri won't work in car thru headset- iOS10/iPhone 7+

This always worked reliably. My phone streams music to the car, but the car built-in microphone *****. So I would have the earbuds in my ear and when I pressed the headset mic button, Siri would use the headset microphone.

This does not work anymore- Siri cannot hear me in the car once the phone has automatically paired with the car stereo. the built-in mic is *so bad* that it's worthless for voice recognition to function at all.

It's a bug, but I don't see it reported. It worked a few weeks ago on iOS 9.5/iPhone 6s+. I upgraded to iPhone 7 with the requisite iOS 10, now updated to 10.0.2, and it doesn't work.

Is there anyway around this to trick it? Siri works fine when the car is not on, so obviously it is enabled.

I'm not sure- when I click on your link, I get "Access to this place or content is restricted. If you think this is a mistake, please contact your administrator or the person who directed you here." I'm logged in, so that's not the issue. Can you check and repost, or past the contents here as a last resort?

It sounds from the title like it might be the issue. It is working with the Lighting headphones sitting at my desk, but not in a car environment.

Thanks,

Jeff
