I purchased the MacBook 12" and am having trouble with the microphone. When using FaceTime, I am able to see the camera view perfectly and hear everything clearly, but the person on the other end cannot hear me. Siri is also not able to hear me after the recent IOS 10 update. Any advice?
MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), iOS 10.0.2
Have you checked the input level setting?
Yes, and it still didn't work. I read someone else's question about it and she was told to restart the SMC. I read the directions, tried it and was still unsuccessful.
Verify that the microphone holes on the right side of your MacBook aren't obstructed.
