Oct 6, 2016 9:30 PM in response to Bkr3babe12by alande,Same problem here tonight iPad locked up claimed i needed an iCloud apple id I never used iCloud use my own email and my own backup. near as I can tell i just wanted a updated credit card to bill me even for downloading a free app.
After I logged in to iTunes from Mac computer and reseat my password from my Email and Cell phone and it asked for a new credit card . After i entered that it let me unlock my iPad again.
