Q: Latest IOS Update is messing with my iPhone 6s

So Personally I see a ton of issues with the Latest IOS Update.

I personally don't like the way you need to press the "Home" for the unlock.

The unlock feature messes up my apps. Example: I'm playing Clash of Clans. I put my iPhone down for a second and next thing I notice my screen locked and I press the home button to unlock and it closes my app. If I'm tracking sports/events on mobile apps and wanna see the details. I'm keeping the app open. The unlock basically is making me close that app when I don't want to.

The Notifications are messed up now. I liked how the notifications for a banner weren't interfering much. The new notifications basically take up 1/3 of my screen now...

My Music App is super confusing now too. I go to my Music. I tap on "Songs and all my Songs are sorted Alphabetically by "Artists" and not the actual song. I get sorting that in iTunes to sort the Albums in order by Artists but not Sort Songs in order by Artists. Also, as much as I DO play my music on repeat a fair amount... Where's the options for Shuffling my music and toggling Repeat to Repeat 1 Song or Repeat All? Wherever it is... I'm disliking that part...

Checking Emails is a pain to quickly scroll through all emails now too. And Text Messaging is annoying with the way you hold down the message and send it. Sometimes I wanna send the message as a straight texts instead of an iMessage. I remember how simple it was to hold down the message I sent and send it as a text instead. These new text features are a little ******** IMO.

Sorry for the Negative Feedback but I feel like I want the previous version of the IOS back

You can change the settings so that you don't need to press home to unlock. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button > Rest Finger to Open. This way your phone will unlock with Touch ID without the need to press the button.

To change how your music is sorted, go to Settings > Music > Sort Songs & Albums > select By Title. It is not possible to have songs sorted by title and albums sorted by artist, so choose the one you prefer.

To get to the shuffle/repeat buttons, scroll down when you're viewing the current playing song in full screen.

You can still send messages normally. Just tap the arrow button. Holding down to send it is how you get the extra options.
