Q: Remove OSx Sierra Beta without time machine

Hey Guys,

I have a 13" MacBook Pro with the Beta version of Sierra on it. My hard drive I use Time Machine on has died, and I've done everything I can to fix it, but it's gone. I want to remove the beta version, and install the actual version now that it has been released. I have downloaded the final product, but when I go to install it, I get an error message saying the copy I already have is newer than the one I want to install.

What can I do?

I don't have another hard drive to use, but having to wipe my computer won't be a big deal, as I don't have much on here.

Any help would be great.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

    Two ways:

    - Backup data yo want from the beta, then using

    http://liondiskmaker.com/

make a bootable USB install media using the released Sierra download. Then boot from that install media and then erase the beta disk and install the released Sierra

    - Wait for an update to the released Sierra and download form App Store and install. In that case yo should also backup data in case something happens.

The problem yo have is that the Gold Master beta was the officially released version but Apple them pushed out a beta update to the beta which makes your installation newer than the official release
