Q: Crashing apps and slow performance since installing macOS Sierra

Hello

Im a long time user of Mac but first time poster as I've been pretty happy with everything on my macbook pro for the past several years ... until I installed Sierra a day ago!

Since the install everything is running super slow and many of my apps hang and crash. Things are not looking good, here is my report from EtreCheck - Running current version 10.12 on my MacBook Pro (Mid 2010)  if anyone is able to help it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Try this first: What happens if you boot in safe mode (hold down shift while booting), do the problems go away?

Try this second in normal boot mode: What happens if you create a new user account and login as that user, do the problems go away?

I'm not sure I'd worry about the Airmail crashes - it's listed as beta software

    Thanks trevoz

After restarting in safe mode then back rebooting normally, it seems the problems have self resolved.

The system is still a little bit slow but no more crashing or hanging apps
