Since, upgrading I've noticed that my Mini will not go to sleep, even if I select "Sleep" from the Apple menu.
Running the following in the terminal : "pmset -g assertions" shows the following.
PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 1
PreventUserIdleSystemSleep named: "com.apple.nfsd"
I can't seem to find out what this com.apple.nfsd task is or why its stopping the system going to sleep, does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening or is someone experiencing the same.?
My Macmini does the same 😟
I tryed to stop the com.apple.nfsd, but it just restarts.
Anyone figured out a fix to this or having the same issue. Its still happening for me after the latest 10.12.1 update.
I just ran this command in Terminal:
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.nfsd.plist
It stops nfsd running, everything other thing still seems to work for me.
So now my Macmini can sleep again 🙂
Many thanks, this seems to have fixed it for me too. Just hope this nfsd is not needed by the OS in someway..
