I Resized the Mac Partition to make more space for BootCamp and now Windows won't boot

On a collague's MacBook Air running 10.11.4, we used Disk Utility to shrink the Mac Partition so that we could then use a Windows tool to expand the BootCamp partition. However, upon reboot, we got a DOS screen with the error that Windows can't boot because it can't find a boot device.

Help, please?

OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

This is not an Apple-supported mechanism for changing Windows partition size. Apple supports remove/re-install only.

We can try to correct it. Please post the output of the following OSX Terminal commands.

diskutil list

diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

What is the year/model of the MBA? Please do not post the serial number of your Mac. The "sudo" commands will prompt you for your password.

Thanks! I will try. At this point, all I want to do is recreate the MBR and get back to where I was. Adding the 65 GB to Windows seems too complicated at this point.

I want to make sure I understand your second paragraph. When you say, "If you follow this..." are you referring to the first set of instructions you linked to, or the second? Meaning, do I use 2 3 4 or 3 4 5 if all I want to do is get back to where I was?
