Q: safari can't watch youtube

I'm running Running Mac 10.11.6 and Safari 10.0

Every page on youtube says:

"Your browser does not currently recognize any of the formats available

Click Here to visit our Frequently Asked Questions about HTML5 video."

I have installed latest Flash player and restarted Safari.

I have installed Youtube5 extension and restarted Safari.

I have installed HTML Video Element and restarted Safari.

Nothing seems to work. *** is going on?
I can't even view videos I have posted.

HELP!

If you want to use ClickToPlug-in, check Safari/Preferences/Security to make sure Allow Plug-ins is checked. Then click Plug-in Settings and make sure Flash is enabled.

YouTube videos won’t play?

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Uncheck boxes beside all extensions and test.
Enable extensions one by one and test.
To uninstall an extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.

Click to Plug-in or ClickToFlash extension can cause this kind of a problem.
