IOS 10.0.2 - my alarm at 7:30 now goes off everyday including the weekends even though it i set to weekdays, and even if i turn it off

I have just updated my iPhone 5S and I am having alarm issues. I had an alarm on all the time for 7:30am on the weekdays, now it even goes off at the weekends even though it is not set as that. This weekend I turned it off altogether and it still went off!

I got this from another website. It was doing my head in. "If you have, IOS10, then you know that in 'Alarm' there is a new thing called ' Bedtime '. When you click on it, on top it will be written ' Bedtime Weekends', just turn it off. Basically, on the weekend it will ring so you go to sleep at that time and that you wake up at that time for a specific time of hours and minutes. I hope I helped some xo"

Hello megan.scott91!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities and thanks for bringing your question about alarm issues. I rely on my alarms daily, so I can completely understand not wanting your alarm to go off on your weekends. I'm happy to help today.

Let's start by restarting your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the alarms are still not functioning as expected, back up your iPhone and reinstall iOS 10. While this won't remove any information from your iPhone, it's always best to have a backup just in case.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Take care.
