Battery percentage and low power mode have disappeared.

I am trying to switch on battery percentage on an iPod touch 5 running iOS 9.3.5. When I go to settings/battery there is no option for turning low power mode or battery percentage on and off. Unlike on my iPhone 4s, all that is displayed is battery usage. I can't be certain but I think it was on until the iPod went into low power mode today. I have fully recharged it now but still no success finding a solution. Any help appreciated.

iPod do not have an option for % battery like iPhones and iPads. They never had.

The low-power option is for iPhones only. Not iPad or iPods

Thanks Illaass for your help. That'll be why I can't find it then. I must have been mistaken about the low power mode on the iPod touch. It might just have been a warning it was running very low on battery, I didn't pay it too much attention at the time.
