Q: safari can't establish a secure connection; but Firefox and Chrome are fine
Many URLs suddenly just hang in the last few days in Safari, perhaps after an update. They are HTTPS sites, and BOTH Firefox and Chrome load the pages just fine.
Example page:
etc. All normal pages. I try and try and after perhaps 30 seconds, Safari stops failing and works.
I have tried resetting the DNS cache via Terminal
Any ideas?

I made a copy of my bookmarks .plist and then Reset Safari. This worked.
I am not sure what the problem was, but Resetting did work.
