How can I lock my I watch screen while I am running

This is the problem I am having. When I run with my iwatch and I am wearing a long sleeve shirt I have a lot of issues with the screen. If I unlock the screen by entering my code, my shirt sleeve rubs on the screen causing unwanted apps to start, the running app I happen to be using stopping, airplane mode starting etc because the shirt sleeve brings up that particular scene by accident. The other problem is that if I lock the screen then many times the shirt sleeve will bring up the code entry screen and by the time I get done with my run my shirt sleeve has entered too many wrong codes and I can't use my watch for hours because I have to wait so I can enter the correct code to unlock it. Is there a way to stop this short of to wearing the watch or not wearing a shirt or jack with long sleeves?

Hi, I was reading this because I have the same kind of problem when mountainbiking. My sleeve is doing stuf with the iwatch and all the time runkeeper quites and all other apps are activated, really frustrating 🙂 While searching for a solution I found this post and read the answer about the lock option in the workout app. At first I thought that is not an solution for me because I'm using runkeeper and runkeeper does not have a simulair lock option. But when I saw the lock icon in the workout app (it's the droplet) and that is also on your main screen. It's the option to remove water from the speaker and mic. But also the option for a lock. So go to our home screen/clock and swipe the screen up for the options (airplane mode, light, nightmodus etc etc. between those options you will find the droplet/lock option. It's to late to test it now with mountainbiking for me but I have the feeling that this will work 🙂.
