Q: Message "Remote Connected" keep showing

Using AppleTV 4 the message "Remote Connected" keep showing on screen.

About once every 3 minutes or so.

It seems to happen only when watching movies on Hulu so far.

Apple TV (4th generation), iOS 10.0.2

Hi. Are you using any other Bluetooth devices that might be interfering with the communication? Are you moving the remote frequently? The Siri remote does go to sleep after several minutes of non-use, presumably to save battery. Then you see that message when you go to use it again. But it shouldn't appear so often with no interaction.

No other bluetooth around, remote not moving.

When on Youtube I don't have this problem.

Strange. I assume you're using Apple TV apps for both Hulu and YouTube, so AirPlay is not involved. Remote behavior shouldn't depend on what is being played. Have you tried force quitting the Hulu app? Some apps seem to get tangled up after running for a while and restarting them cleans them out. Remember, ATV apps now remain running just like iPhone apps. This is different from the older Apple TVs.

Bluetooth works in the 2.4 GHz range like wifi and other electrical devices, interference can come from a wide range of sources such as baby monitors, cordless phones and many other types of electrical equipment.
