Q: iPad Pro not finding Apple TV 4 in Bluetooth device list

Oct 8, 2016 10:47 AMby Jeighlg,TThanks, it that's where the problem started. I followed the directions and did have the iPad next to the Apple TV. Nothing happened...no pairing, it didn't even show up on the device list to be able to pair. Tried it half a dozen times before switching to manual entry. The only thing I can think of is that the a-tv unit did not ship with the most up-to-date version and there was no way for me to update it prior to pairing. Go figure.

Oct 8, 2016 11:22 AMby vazandrew,It's not supposed to show up on the device list as it's just transfering settings. When I set mine up it just automatically paired and transferred the settings, walked me through a few steps on the iPhone and that was it. I got mine on launch day back in 2015 so it wasn't an update issue, more likely something stopping the two from communicating.
