last OS X el capitan update removed ability to change search engine

Did the last update 'remove' ability to change search engine from bing to anything else. As well as removing the ability to change font size. This one I rectified by increasing the 'zoom' from 100% to 115". Some of us need glasses for our glasses..

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Hi,

Regarding changing the browser from Bing to Google or even Duck Duck Go. I already had my 'preference' as something other than Bing. I followed your instruction regarding the extensions. Only have two of them. Last Pass and Ad Block Plus. I removed 'click' from one, restarted, no change. I then removed 'click' from Last Pass, no change again.

Regarding, the 'font'. I still have El Capitan 10.11.6. I could not do the 'terminal, as I read thru the answer, it said that was only good for Sierra. I tried to install Sierra, but did not have enough memory left to upgrade.

I then installed 'stylus'. That did not work, as I do not know anything about CSS sheets. and when I went thru all the steps, I was like 'duh'.

Thanks anyway.
