Q: APSDeamon.exe System error
Hi,
Its been awile since I open my iTune in my window 7, then as always a new message come out to ask me to update to the latest version of iTune. But the problem is after I updated my iTune to the latest version, an "APSDeamon.exe system error" came out, api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll is missing and try re-installing the program. Error occurs everytime I start my laptop.
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." - the full error message
At first I don't know why the error came out, after i checked it is related to after i update the lastest version of iTunes. All the problems in Itune forum seem to be different from mine, which the common error is .msi of some kind, and mine was api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll to be missing.
I have tried to follow the iTune procedure of un-installing all the related apple component, then install the latest iTune. Still having the same error now i start my laptop.
Just to add my window 7 is fairly old and stop system update for a long time, but it doesn't have any problems until now with the iTune. Error only happen after I update the latest version.
And a seperate question- just now I changed my debit account card 's expire date and security code after i received my new debit account card. iTune suddenly charge me 1 dollar the moment I save my settings?
Thank you. Hope I can receive great help with easy steps.
iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2, null

For the last issue see About payment card authorization holds in the iTunes Store - Apple Support.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version, or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues, or for compatibility with third party software on 64-bit systems.
Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the issue persists and you have a 64-bit system try the for older video cards version which is a 64-bit installer for mostly 32-bit code, similar to all 64-bit versions of iTunes up to 12.1.
