Please may I know why apple dvd deck did not have usb recorder usb hole on it?

As a member of apple community I want to ask this, May I know why apple DVD did not have USB hole, because on blue ray machines there is CD OR DVD recording hole and USB hole. I need one of apple DVD but there is no any hole for USB, will you kindly help me for the reason ? Hope to hear from you.

Do you have a link to the item ? The Apple SuperDrive (which is a player only, not a recorder) has a USB connection : http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD564LL/A/apple-usb-superdrive?fnode=5f


If you want to know why a particular device/hardware has particular connections you would have to ask Apple.


But as you've posted in the Using iPad forum, you can't connect a DVD player to an iPad
