zip to bin file to cpgz, files keep multing, can't open anything.

iMack desk top, processor 2.7 GB, memory 8 GB,

I downloaded my camera to photo archives and most of my photo files went to a zip file.

when I try to open the zip file, it turns into a bin file then when i try to open the bin file it turns into a cpgz file and when i try to open that file it repeats itself and it keep on multiplying
