Apple WatchHi
To pair Bluetooth headphones with your watch for listening to music from the synced playlist, check that you have placed your Bluetooth headphones into discovery / pairing mode (refer to the manufacturer's instructions) and that you are following the instructions here:
You may find that you first need to unpair your headphones from your iPhone (or any other device that they may already be paired with) before you can pair them with your watch.
It may also help to move both the watch and headphones away from any other active Bluetooth devices and to keep them close together when pairing.

Oct 10, 2016 9:56 AM in response to Jonathan UKby janetfromsan rafael,I did this, several times, even walking 3 blocks away from where I had Bluetooth turned "off" on both macbook and iphone. It didn't work. The Powerbeats is not connecting with my watch, even if I turn everything off, shut down, start over. The only way I was able to listen to music yesterday was to put my iPhone 6s in my pocket and take it too. Then Powerbeats connected and I could listen to my playlist. Ironically, I could see what was playing on my watch, but without the iPhone physically there, it wouldn't work independently. I am quite disappointed, as the reason I got the watch was to be able to take my walk without carrying a bulky heavy phone with me!
