Q: Visual voicemail glitches in iOS 10

I am having visual voicemail issues in iOS 10.0.2. The voicemail box keeps closing and the message starts playing but does not finish. I am constantly having to close and reopen the phone app. Resetting the network settings did not work.

iPhone SE, iOS 10.0.2

I'm not sure what carriers you all have, but I contacted AT&T because my voicemail worked fine when I put the iphone on Airplane mode with just wifi.  So I figured out that it was an AT&T problem.  I contacted AT&T and they reset my voicemail and it seems to be working as of now...hope this helps everyone.

    I am having the same issue and so is quite a few people that I know.  Hopefully someone is working on a resolution.

    My hubby'S 6s voicemail just started freaking out, too.  Can see that he has a VM message, but when he clicks on the message, it expands for less than a second and closes again.  Can't retrieve messages.  And can't delete old messages.  So frustrating.

    I have a 6, and am experiencing the exact same issue Since updating to iOS 10. Currently running 10.0.2. Clean install of 10 and I set it up as a new phone.

    My girlfriend (6s) and I (6) also have this problem.  Maybe the Apple moderators won't delete my post this time.

    Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon today trying to address this problem.. They had me reset network settings and they reset my voicemail from scratch.  That didn't seem to make much difference at all. I also tried updating to iOS 10.1 beta  hoping that the new software would have fixed it. Didn't make any difference. Still having the same issue on 10.1b. I can say that the Verizon rep so I spoke with genuinely seemed to want this fixed, but didn't really have an idea how to accomplish it.

    At this point, Verizon wants me to factory restore my phone and reinstall software, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle for me. Especially since I get voicemail so infrequently. If anybody else wants to try that and let me know if it works for them,  I'd be interested in the outcome.... In the meantime, I think I might just go back to checking my infrequENT voicemail messages by holding the "1" key and checking it the old school way.
