Q: Home network not seeing primary router

DesktopsDid you know you can probably run BOTH Routers for better coverage?

If you
• have Routers that can go 802.11g or better (which you do)
• connect the two Routers with an Ethernet cable
• put the secondary Router(s) in 'bridge' mode (Apple Router in this case)
• give both Routers the same name and password
They will become ONE Roaming Network. You connect to whichever is seen stronger at the moment. The forwarding delay is so tiny as to be undetectable.

Open Airport Utility and authenticate as needed, then use this pane to set bridge mode:
Then on the "Wireless" pane, set the same "wireless security", enter the same password as your main router, and set the same "wireless network Name". Close the window and save changes and the two Routers turn into ONE Roaming Network.
