Open the App Maps app and click on the arrow to the left of search box to find your location.
Also, when you use Siri what response do y get when you try to find your location?
I am find Siri useless on my 2012 Mini. Siri just responds with I do not know what you want or other non-relevant responses.
It wOrks good on my IPad and the Beta woRked good on my 2013 Mac Pro desktop

Apple creates/update their databased based on information they receive from iPhones and maybe iPads with cellular radio. No one has found a way to otherwise tell Apple to update their database
