Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
It looks like you have movies in iTunes that wont sync to your iPad, but they will sync to your son's iPad.
Are you and your son using the same model iPad? If yours is an earlier model, it may not support the video format you're using.
As a test, try converting one of the movies to an iPad friendly format before syncing:
If your videos from iTunes can't be played on your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Apple TV - Apple Support
Convert a video for iPad or Apple TV
- Open iTunes.
- Select the video that you want to convert.
- Mac: From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose File > Create New Version > "Create iPad or Apple TV Version."
Windows: Hold down the Control and B keys on your keyboard to open the iTunes menu bar, then choose File > Create New Version > "Create iPad or Apple TV Version." Learn more about menus in iTunes for Windows.
Let us know if you and your son are using identical iPad models, or you can't sync the converted movies.
Sincerely. -
