Q: iCloud backup freezes...how to unfreeze?

My iPhone 5S (iOS 10.0.2) iCloud backup freezes when reaching approximately 40% of the progress bar. I do not get any error, the bar just stays there without further advancing. Today I tried to leave my iPhone on WiFi during the night without any improvement. Basically, after 24h, the bar was still in the same position.

Is there something I can try to do to fix it?

What I already tried to do was to:

turn backup off and on again;
turn my iPhone off then on again;
check my iPhone iCloud backup data (iCloud/Archive/Manage Space/iPhone) and noticed that although ALL my apps backups are turned on but there is a "no data" comment below each app... this looks a bit strange to me...

looks like you need to try another wifi and may be buy more storage. for some reason message "not enough storage" does not show up since 9.3.2

My iCloud plan is enough, still 40GB to spare.

I tried to change WiFi, to turn off then on again the device, to delete the old backup, but it still freezes.

After 2 days it stops with the following two weird things:

1) although iCloud backup has been deleted, it says that the last backup is from september 2015...??! No sense at all...

2) Another message shown below: "Some files were not available during your last backup"...

I do not have any other information...

This is quite annoying as it is not about... reliability...
