Q: Apple Music playlist showing up weird on iPhone 7plus

HI,

so I have an iPhone 7 plus and the problem is that the smart playlist I have shows up weird on the iPhone 7 plus but is perfectly fine on the iPad Pro or on iTunes?

unfortunately I can't seem to post pictures here using my iPad - but rest assured the difference is obvious - the playlist on the iPhone seven merely shows blanks were some songs should be, and then of the ones it shows it repeats the same exact song a few places down.

I Will post photos if I work out how. I tried a few different ways of setting up the smart playlist (e.g. music, and no live updating) - but the error is the same...

any solutions?

    Hi mm13,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you have a Smart Playlist that is not displaying or playing correctly on your iPhone 7. Does this happen with multiple Smart Playlists or just this one?

Because this is only happening on one of your iOS devices, we would like to continue troubleshooting by reestablishing the connection between your devices. To complete this process, navigate to Settings > Music and disable iCloud Music Library.

Please note that disabling iCloud Music Library will remove all Apple Music songs from your iPhone and you will have to download them again after enabling iCloud Music Library again.

As mentioned above, after you have disabled iCloud Music Library and your downloaded songs have been removed, turn the service back on and check the Smart Playlist.

    Cheers!

    HI,

unfortuantely that doesn't work. I had tried that first. I then even tried deleting the smart playlist and setting all over agaim. No luck with that either . It appears fine on my iTunes and on ipad Pro, but not on the iPhone 7 plus (previously it worked fine on my I phone 6 plus?)
