Q: Make a call using apple watch and talk on bluetooth headset

Hi everyone

Basically what I need is being able to make a call using my apple watch and talk on my Bluetooth headset instead of the watch without touching my phone.

I did search for similar topics but unfortunately they were old and my problem is recent, since it was caused when I updated my watch to watch OS 3.

I have an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 10 and a first generation apple watch running watch OS 3 and a Plantronics Voyager legend Bluetooth headset paired to both my iPhone and my apple watch.

Previously on iOS 9 and watch OS 2, when I initiated the call using apple watch, it was automatically routed to my B/T headset. But since upgrading the phone to iOS 10 and the watch to watch OS 3, whenever I make a call using the watch, I can only talk using the watch itself. even pushing my B/T headset button during the call doesn't transfer the call to the headset and instead it ends the call on the watch.

I know taking my iPhone out and routing the call to the headset using it would work, but that is not what I need.

To be exact in details:

Phone: iPhone 6s plus running IOS 10.0.2

Watch: First generation apple watch running watch OS 3

B/T headset: Plantroincs Voyager legend paired to both the iPhone and the watch

Hand-off setting: set to on, both on the watch and the phone

Call audio routing setting: Set to Bluetooth headset
