Q: I do not see the Friends preference
Since I bought my Apple Watch 2 I do not see the Friends listed next to Contacts in the My Watch preferences on my iPhone 7 Plus. What am I doing wrong?

Under watchOS 3, the Friends feature (which was available under prior versions) is no longer included and there is no direct replacement for it.
When placing calls or sending new messages, contacts can instead be selected via the Phone and Messages apps or by using Siri:
