What is PRE TRASH in Photos?
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), running SSD
If you delete Photos from your Photos Library they will be moved to the "Recently Deleted" album. This album is hidden, if it is empty. Photos will remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days and then purged automatically. Or you can open the album and recover photos or delete them immediately.
