Using a pc with Win 10 iTunes 12.5.1 won't sync

hi,

i generally don't use iTunes . A while ago I rebuilt my pic and moved my library to the new machine and hard drive

aand everything looks good. I realized after a recent restore after an issue from iCloud a bunch of songs are not on my iPhone 6s Plus using iOS 10. Only purchased songs came back.

SoI tried to sync today to the pic and iTunes and it goes through the 3 "steps" then just sits there not syncing, only an apple logo (as if it synced and finished). Again I hardy use iTunes as I am not real fond of the application. i have seen some users having issues with this version of iTunes. In the library the songs I want to sync are checked. I ran diagnostics all return okay.

IDeas? Real frustrated as I JUST realized I am missing probably hundreds of songs (I lead a real hectic life, trust me) and now can't get them back. I saw an article on putting the iPhone into recovery mode but I don't want to fully restore as I never really backed this up to iTunes.

FRUSTRATED

OK, so in the sidebar, click on Music under Summary, similar to this:

User uploaded file

That will open the Device Profile for Music in window to your right:

User uploaded file

My example above does not show what you see when you select Sync Music because I'm sync'd to a different computer, but you would make sure that was clicked, and then would select Entire Music Library or Selected Playlists, Artists, Albums, and Genres. If you choose the "Selected" option, then below that you would see your music listed, and you would select specifically what you want to sync.

Cheers,

GB
