Q: Is there any way to see "what's playing" with any workout app
I'm looking for a way of seeing what song is playing (preferably all information, including who is playing it) while recording a workout. I've tried the Strava app and the built-in Workout app, but neither seem to give me any way to see what's playing. The ability to see what's playing is one of the main reasons I got the Watch in the first place, but it only works if I am NOT doing a workout. But if I'm not doing a workout, my iPhone is in my pocket instead of in an armband. It is difficult to remove and reattach the armband while running, so the Watch seemed the perfect solution. So far it isn't a solution at all, which is disappointing. But I'm new to the Watch, so I'm hoping I'm just unaware of a solution that is out there.
I'm using the Apple Watch 2, and don't mind carrying my iPhone 6+. I really have to, as I have thousands of songs (oddly, iTunes no longer lets me get the number of songs in my library).
