Q: I FOUND AN IPOD TOUCH. WHAT now?

I found an iPod touch. I would like to return it to the owner but if they don't respond then what? can I keep it and give it to someone who might like to use it?

Not if it is locked with an Activation Lock to Find My iPhone, which it sounds like it does. When you say "if they don't respond", what do you mean exactly?

It should be either turned in to the police, or responsibly recycled.

Well I have no idea how this works. I figured they contact the registered email, if they don't respond...
- that's a good idea, I can drop it off at the nearest PS.
