Q: Image Capture and importing video from SD card

Image Capture in OS X Sierra seems to change the creation date of .MOV video files imported from an SD card from date and time created to  date and time of importing it to the Mac. Has anyone else experienced this (and know how to  change this)?

Weirdly enough, photo files seem to retain their original creation date after being imported from SD card (so maybe all this has something to do with a change in how EXIF meta data is handled).

BTW the creation date of video files is not changed when importing from SD card using the Photo's app.
