Q: Remote desktop connection no longer working after Sierra upgrade

I've upgraded to MacOS Sierra and now my Remote Desktop Connection won't work. It has always come up with the message "The certificate or associated chain is not valid" but previously I've been able to click connect and it will. Now it just loops back to the same message. Any ideas of how to get around this. I'm desperate!

In the RDP Client preferences is it set it to 'connect anyways' even if authentication fails?

What are you trying to connect to? Are you referring to the Microsoft Remote Desktop client, or something else?

We just bought the Apple Remote Desktop. All our Mac are in Sierra 10.12 The Apple Remote Desktop Client won't install and says: You have a older version... : Remote Desktop Client Update can't be installed on this disk. This update requires Mac OS X 10.10.5 or later (we have 10.12). Please need help.
