Just a quick section. I bought an open box iPhone 6s from ebay. The user gave me the serial number to check it and i found out that it was already activated on July 2016.
When i asked him why was activated he told me that when a phone is bought the warranty automatically is activated.
Is it true?
We are talking for a verizon model

The One Year Limited Warranty runs from the date of original purchase.
Be sure to check that Activation Lock is not enabled for the iPhone:

Note that, if the seller is still in possession of the iPhone, its Activation Lock status may change in between the time when you check it and the time when you receive it.

The activation lock is another thing. I checked it also and it says that it is activation locked. In my question to the seller i told that findmyiphone was deactivated but until know its says to be activation locked. Should i begin to worry?
If it is activation locked don't buy it, you won't be able to use it while it is.
Activation Lock is designed to prevent unauthorised use of the iPhone if it is lost or stolen.
You must ensure that the lock has been removed before accepting the iPhone from the seller.
