Phone call wont end when password locked

Has anyone else had this issue? I have not had this problem since IOS10 so I assume it is a glitch that Apple has not found and fixed yet.

When my phone is password locked and I have Siri call someone after I'm done talking and I go to hit the end button it is not there. It requires me to click home to unlock the screen then put in the password, it will open up to the home screen then I much click the phone app to where I can finally click the end button.

If you were to do this and call a number that had a teleprompter where you had to put in an extension or option you would also have to unlock your phone, put in the password just to hit an option or extension.

This is certainly not user-friendly and likely not intended. Is there others that have experienced this? If this could be forwarded to Apple's software development team that would be great to have this fixed. Thank you.
