Q: Random "Fast Fade" screen switch in Netflix's Full Screen Mode

My MacBook Pro stubbornly switches spaces while I am watching Netflix on Full Screen mode (both in Safari and Chrome). The screen looks like it's switching from Netflix to another app, but the screen itself doesn't change to anything different; it's like I'm watching a movie with a Fast Fade... but to the same image. Once it starts (about 5-10 minutes in, it happens about 1-3 minutes thereafter.

At first, I thought this was the mischievous "Automatically Rearrange Spaces based on most recent use" option, but no... I quit all other apps. I merged all Safari windows into one window with tabs. I disabled every single option in Mission Control. Dashboard is off. I have logged out and back in again. Yes, I have Google Drive on my computer but never use it and Activity Monitory has nothing (with Google Drive in the name) running in the background. I rebooted Netflix, chose Full Screen option and a few minutes into the movie, I still get the "Fast Fade" bug.

I even tried to disable spaces with the terminal with:

defaults write com.apple.dock mcx-expose-disabled -bool TRUE && killall Dock

Nopes. Same problem.

I'm running the most recent OS (10.12 Sierra) but this has been happening in the last two OS's, as well.

Any ideas what I could try next? I've scoured the web and come up empty...
