Q: overheating in mcbk air since day 1
Dear Concern
In reference to our discussion in the trailing mail, I deposited my macbook at Unicorn Infosolutions (Zip code: 22**01, Job number: LK****271) on 7th oct 2016. After 3 days of diagnosis the center has informed me that my Macbook has a defective motherboard which is leading to overheating and battery drain. They suggested me to replace motherboard (to which I am certainly not in agreement ).
I bought this device from an Apple store (The Domain, Austin, USA) on 26th September and has been facing this complaint from the date of purchase only. It is highly unacceptable that a genuine Apple store sells a defective product.
I have completely lost confidence in this device and I want a complete replacement of the device since I am facing this complaint from the date of purchase. I have reported the concern to Apple support and the service center within 14 days of purchase, and have never expected an Apple product would perform like this.
The device is heating and Battery is lasting for 2 hours only. At Every 1 min 1% drop in charging is being observed.
Anything less than complete device replacement is not acceptable to me.
Device Serial Number : C0*******FWM
Regards
Vivek S.
